INEC Declares Imo State Gubernatorial Election Inconclusive

The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has declared the governorship election in Imo state inconclusive. Consequently elections will be rescheduled in LGA`s  where voting was cancelled due to irregularities

Professor Ibidapo Obe, the returning officer, said the election was  inconclusive because the number of cancelled votes (144,715) is higher than the margin of win (79,529) by Chief Rochas Okorocha,of the All Progressives Congress,

Chief. Okorocha polled 385,671 while Hon.Ihedioha of the PDP polled 306,142 votes.
